Customer has the blues at Georgia Blue.

A reader submitted this little testimony about her experience last weekend at Georgia Blue restaurant in Flowood.

Let me start by saying, I don't normally take time out to write reviews for restaurants. I have been in the food service industry for 28 years. I have never encountered such a blatant disregard for customer care as I did tonight. I called Georgia Blue early in the day to request reservations for 12 for a birthday dinner for my sister this evening. The hostess told me that they do not take reservations, but was very courteous and took my name and the number in the party and told me she would work us in as quickly as possible. Seeing as how we were dining at 5:30 on a Sunday evening, I didn't feel as if we would have a problem being seated anyway...it was really just to give them a heads up that a large group of us were coming in for dinner.

We arrived at the Flowood location at 5:30 and were all there crowded around the hostess stand waiting, and I could see the table was ready, so I told the hostess that we were all there if she wanted to seat us. She told me that they were waiting in order to give the waitress time to get her other tables in order before they seated us. Alright, I get it, but we had 2 small children with us, and would have rather been seated, and told that it would be a few minutes before the server could get to us. This was no biggie, we just waited patiently.

When we were just about to be seated, I was approached by one of the waitresses that I happen to know form outside of the restaurant (this was only my second visit to this restaurant). She noticed that I was carrying a cake box, and knows that I own a cake shop. She told me that we were not allowed to bring cake in from outside the restaurant. Maybe, I should have asked before we made reservations, but I can tell you, in 28 years of working in and eating out at restaurants, I have never been told I could not bring a specialty cake in to have after our dinner. Honestly most of the time I make an extra large cake so that we can share with our server, and other staff members.

I asked to speak to the manager to confirm this "policy". The manager (female with long dark hair - didn't catch her name) came to the hostess stand already on the defensive. She started telling me some story of how some group came in with a cake from somewhere, then later on complained that they had gotten food poisoning, and tried to blame Georgia Blue for the illness. She told me that it was against health department code to bring food in from outside. When I told her that I not only own my own cake business, but am also serve safe certified, and inspected by the health department on a regular basis, and that is not the health departments policy, she started changing her story. Then she said the health department told them that because they serve raw food (oysters... I guess?) they can't allow people to bring in cake. When I told her that we have taken cake into Little Tokyo, Sakura Bana, and several other restaurants that serve raw food with no problem, her response was "well, they must not be following the rules!".

They refused to allow us to have our cake, so we left (mostly because the manager was rude about it). We ended up going next door to Ichiban (not exactly what we had wanted for a nice birthday dinner, but not much choice since we had 2 little ones with us that were ready to eat), and they were thrilled to have us. They even brought us a lighter to light the candles, a knife to cut the cake, small plates, and to go boxes to pack leftover cake in. They got cake too!! We spent over $200.00 in Ichiban tonight, and it is a buffet. No telling how much money Georgia Blue forfeited tonight, because they weren't willing to bend even a little. I am sure that with appetizers, entrees, and cocktails it would have been a nice tab. I feel sorry for the waitress that missed out on my overly generous tipping habit! Absolutely zero customer service skills!!!

We will never go back

Sounds like someone needs to understand that they are not the center of the universe, or in others words, "you can't have your cake and eat it too." Thank you, thank you. Try the veal, i will be here all week.

What does this have to do with anything related to news?

Been there twice. will never go back. food is blah and expensive. servers are untrained. bet they won't make it.

I've brought cupcakes to Georgia Blue in Flowood before and no one said anything about it.

This surprises me. I've always had great service there.

This is outrageous! I am stunned -- stunned, I say! -- that Georgia Blue refused to provide special accommodations to that's lady and her party. They wouldn't use her "heads up" as a sneaky way of getting around their policy of not taking reservations, didn't seat her party promptly when they arrived at their "heads up" time of 5:30, and, when surprised with a cake brought in from outside, the restaurant actually held firm to it's policy on that, too. What kind of a country do we live in when people aren't allowed to march in to businesses and demand special treatment or exceptions to policies. On the humanity!!!

I've only been to GB one time. I went on a random slow weeknight with a friend. The service was slow. When my friend and I started asking about different entrees, the waiter didn't have any good things to say about any of the entrees. We ordered & the food was not good. My friend ate only a few bites of his meal. The waiter came over and asked my friend if he wanted a to-go box. He indicated that he didn't want a to-go box because he didn't care for the food or the cold temperature of an entree that should have been served hot. The waiter's response, "yeah, I told you that wasn't a good food choice when you ordered!" Talk about poor customer service! I've worked in food service before. I was trained on "Make it Right" which means making a bad situation for a customer right. We obviously weren't looking for a free meal. The waiter could have done anything to try to make it right: let me get you another entree, let me get you a dessert, let me comp that one meal, etc. Instead, he permanently lost two good customers! At the risk of sounding like my parents-customer service is a lost art in our restaurant industry. Whether you go to McDonalds or a fine dining restaurant, it's hard to find good service.

Good for Georgia Blues I like a place that follows the rules---This letter was obviously written with an attitude probably the same attitude the GB manager had to deal with----Give the manager a raise she handled the situation perfectly..

Who gives a crap.

Kingfish said...

Actually it sounds like her letter was written by someone who does work in food service. Most people I know who are waiters/waitresses tend to tip better because they are in the same boat. She also knew how waiters and hosts hate getting slammed with large tables when crowded so she was actually being nice in giving them a head's up. Would you like me to get confirmation on that practice from our friend John Dennery? ;-)

..because they weren't willing to bend the rules a little bit.... Maybe if she brought enough for everybody in the restaurant not just the servers serving her cake from her incredible cake company.

my son has worked as a server in the past...not now thank God! anyhow, he came home with many "can we bring our own cake stories". The big problem is most often when the celebration is over there is cake and icing smeared from one end of the table to the other and the celebrants are long gone leaving the sticky mess for someone else to clean up.

P.S. @ "cake shop owner"...eating at a restaurant , cleaning your plated then squealing "I done been food poisoned" is the oldest trick in the book by those seeking free food. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Hey who gives a rip about the shady All Citizens for Mississippi PAC Report, and the $16000 that was paid to another local preacher which just so happens to be the same amount Fielder said he was promised, we must first right this cake injustice!

Every restaurant I've been to in the metro area lets you bring in birthday cakes.

Anonymous said...

At Nick's we were each charged a plating fee for bringing in an outside cake for a birthday. I don't blame them. They have several excellent desserts on the menu. You would think she would know about this type of thing.

Anonymous said...

So if Georgia Blue follows health regulations regarding the cake they get blasted, but if they got a violation and get a C rating, they also get blasted. Sounds fair to me.

Anonymous said...

I wasnt there so I dont know if the manager was rude or not. But I do know one thing, she did her job. Had she allowed this lady to bring the cake in on her watch she could have risked being fired. But obviously this lady could care less about the managers job. And I dont blame the manager for getting rude as this lady said she was. Because this lady seems to have a hard time taking no for an answer. Like she said, she will never go back. Well lady, I dont they want you back.

If I owned a "non-fast food" restaurant like GB, no way would you bring a cake in my business. If you don't want to buy my cake, have your party at home. Not an uncommon business practice. Have you ever tried to bring your own auto parts to a mechanic? Same thing. If she were in food service business she would know that. I bet she would not decorate a cake somebody else baked.........

Anonymous said...

If it is their policy, the writer should get some cheese to go with that whine of hers. Rules are rules fo reasons....usually because of an injury or an ambulance chasing lawyer.

In my line of work, I have observed that the customer is seldom right.

Anonymous said...

I eat there at least once a week......lunch usually. I have found it to be well managed, excellent food, and very fairly priced. I will continue to eat there!

If you fed a party of twelve for two hundred bucks you ought not be bitching.

If you're in the food bidness you oughta know to visit the restaurant to discuss your list of wants, needs and intentions. You oughta do this even if your shindig is at McDonalds or Pizza Inn. You don't call ahead to give a heads up that your-righteoushood is on the way in, so clear a path.

Consider a group of school children planning to tour your cake factory. The school bus arrives and they unload a cooler of Gatorade and several ice-cream cakes from Dairy Queen. I could go on.

7:29,

The discussion is about dinner restaurants, not fast food restaurants.

As an owner of many different businesses over the years, a good tipper and someone that occasionally eats cake.... this is much ado about nothing.

It doesn't matter what the reasoning is for the policy of no cake. It's their policy, arguing with them and forcing an explanation and further explanation simply for argument's sake is indicative of the narcissistic attitude the rest of the original petty commentary exuded.

I've eaten at Georgia Blue once. I had the shrimp and grits and thought they ranked with the best in the metro area. To the original letter writer, you are eating a dining establishment, not Chuck E. Cheese. Some restaurants can handle a large group that wants to sit together and celebrate, it's not the job of every restaurant to cater to that.

Anonymous said...

We eat at GB on occasion. I have found the food to be very good if a bit pricey. The service has never been slow, but it does take a little time to prepare good food. If I were planning a birthday dinner I would look for a venue that had a private dining area and would ask beforehand about bringing in a cake. The bottom line is, it is their place of business, you play by their rules if you go there.

GB is pretty terrible. I'm boycotting Babalu because the hostess refused to allow us to take out tiny dog on the patio.

Never been to Georgie Blue... I will certainly be giving them a try now though. Hooray for people that have rules, even if I may not understand or agree with them, and have the balls/ovaries to stick to them!

Bringing a party of 12 including two small children to a restaurant without a firm reservation is not smart. Bringing your own food into a restaurant is insulting. Maybe they should have just stayed home.

I've had good meals at Georgia Blue and good service.

Anonymous said...

I wish I knew who wrote this, so I could be sure to bring my own desert into her cake shop and eat it in front of her, smear icing on the floor, and walk away.

Don't worry, I'd call ahead to give her a heads up.

I like how many of these people with zero experience in food service comment about this lady being wrong. The first rule in food service is make the customer happy. This lady went above and beyond to accomodate Georgia Blue in letting them know that there was a 12 top coming. Sadly, in my last experience there I found the wait staff to be untrained, service lacking, and food not as good as it once was.

When I saw this headline, I assumed there would be a fistfight or at least a lot of swearing and throwing of food. Very disappointed. I will not be back.

Not sure which is more pathetic, that so many people can get so excited about this or that I have spent ten minutes that I'll never get back reading all the comments.

I eat out frequently and it is disgusting to see large parties "hog" numerous seats while having a birthday party. The worst ones seem to be on weekend nights when the businesses are really busy. If the person complaining is actually in the food service industry they would know that "turns" are essential for restaurants to be profitable. There are venues for birthday parties and you average restaurant in not the place. Go to Chuck E. Cheese...that is what their specialty!!!!!

Another take on bringing your own food into a restaurant: allergies. We have a child with egg and other food allergies, which obviously severely limits choices (you have no idea how pervasive eggs are in ingredients until you have a situation like ours). Rather than leave junior out and take his siblings (after all, he didn't ask for the allergies), we routinely grab something fast-food along the way and discreetly bring it in mama's purse into local restaurants. I can't recall a time where anyone said 'boo' about it...we typically let our server know why we're busting out a bag of BYB as our plates arrive. I see this as a totally different issue than bringing cake into a restaurant that offers similar desserts, but just wanted to point this out as a different perspective you might not otherwise have considered.

Anonymous said...

I take birthday cakes all the time to restaurants. The staff at Bills Greek Tavern and The Mayflower could not be any more accommodating offering plates and dessert forks. We always give the remaining cake to the staff and they are very appreciative.
After reading this, I would never dine at Georgia Blue.

Anonymous said...

I think the morons on here posting hooray that Georgia Blue's follows the rules are missing a key point. The writer (like'em or not) says they called ahead to request a table for a "birthday party."

If they indeed said that, then the person who told them they didn't take reservations should have included that they do not allow outside cake at their restaurant. Birthday party and cake... pretty darn logical conclusion. Sounds like the waitstaff isn't well trained.

Also, I echo the fact that I have never been in a restaurant in the area that doesn't allow you to bring in cake for special occasions. Never had one say anything about bringing in baby food or snacks for small children either. Sounds like some you you would have a problem with that too.

Anonymous said...

This is actually a very helpful post. The "world revolves around me" crowd is getting pissed and declaring they'll never again eat at GB, which means the rest of us are gaining a more considerate crowd next time we're there.

And next time I'm in the mood to sit next to a party of 12 having a birthday dinner with a cake they brought from somewhere else (which basically is never), I'll be sure to check out Ichiban, Bill's or The Mayflower.

Everyone's a winner on this one!

And to the comment about the stupid dog... you wouldn't bring that flea mutt into my house either!

I have owned and managed numerous restaurants over the past 30 years and a member of the Mississippi Hospitality & Restaurant Assn. Here's my take. (1)The customer calling ahead did GB a courtesy, but she should have asked their policy in bring a birthday cake. (2) The manager was dead wrong about health department regulations. A cake, by the way, is not considered a hazardous food. (3)I would have welcomed the party with open arms on a slow Sunday night when turn is not important. But, probably not on a Friday or Saturday night unless I had a private room. (4) Bless Nick Apostle he knows good customer service. And sorry John Dennery is not still in the business. (5) The Babalu manager was correct in saying "no pooch" Health Department regulations forbid any animals except service dogs. (6) The GB food is iffy and service is poor. Not high on my list to visit and certainly not for a celebration.

I went to Georgia Blue on Saturday afternoon. I wrote them yesterday about how disappointed I was. I had ordered the Mahi sandwich which is suppose to come with slice advocado. I had one tiny slice on ONE side of the sandwich. I asked my server for some on the side and he took the whole thing back. A few minutes later the long haired manager came out with the same sandwich with what looked to be some smeared advocado and old fries. It was gross looking. She thought it was so much better. If I were a manager I would not have brought that back to a customer. I paid my bill and I wont be back!! Total waste of money!

You snoot-asses who claim to be in the restaurant bidness or otherwise honor us with your meaningless resume are certainly entitled to your opinions. However, don't waste time with these pissant 'reviews'. The wait staff and front counter people at both GBs are, for the most part, young people who are spending their summer or after school hours or evening hours working a job and contributing rather than sitting on their asses like most of your children do, waiting for you to fill up the BMW and clean their room.

I have eaten dozens of times at the one in Madison. All of the staff appear to be cheerful, young folks interested in learning a job and certainly focused on the customer. Compare that to any other restaurant with the exception of white cloth places.

GB compared to steak houses, BBQ places, fish houses and motel restaurants and other area eateries is well above average. You'll never be smart talked by wait staff. You'll never hear 'No Prollem' when you thank them. You'll never see one leaning around on the cell phone.

And, yeah, speaking of Nick's, he had them so well trained they showed up for work on their last day only to read an 'out of bidness' note on the front door.

This is absolutely the dumbest thread I have ever waded into

Anonymous said...

My husband and I eat our frequently, not because I am a poor cook but because he is a picky eater. We made two trips to GB in one Sunday afternoon, our first and last. Food was average, and service was beyond terrible. It took us and hour and a half to get served and the servers were more concerned about cashing out their tips than paying any attention to us. Perhaps these fine reviews on here will cause them to take stock in how they run the place. Probably not though because it's clear they don't care now nor ever will.

Anonymous said...

I think there is a lesson here that all of us should already know. When dealing with a hired manager in any type business if they tell you 'the law says' or 'our policy is' that is all you will get out of them. You either have to talk with the Owner, be able to prove to them that their understanding of the law is incorrect (you will never prove that their understanding of their own policy is incorrect), or go elsewhere. The last thing a hired manager is going to do is violate company policy or the law, as they understand it.

Georgia Blue said...

I am with Georgia Blue. We can’t speak for what happens in other restaurants, but it is a fact that our Health Department representative has advised us not to allow food within our restaurant that was not prepared in our kitchen. The reasoning is that we must take responsibility for anything consumed in our establishment (including the potential blame for any possible food poisoning), and we cannot ensure the safety of something brought in. Unfortunately, the story of another group bringing in a cake and then blaming us because the cake made them sick is true. It is certainly a no-win situation for everyone involved, including the people mentioned in this story.

However, I take exception to the fact that this article was even posted on this site. Publishing a one-sided hit piece about a locally owned business is not good for anyone in our local community.

Some people are perpetually offended, and I am beginning to think one's ability to be easily offended is directly correlated to their intelligence.

If this would have been me, I would have left the cake in the car or went somewhere else. Geez.

I'm only 36 years old, but in my life I have had only two issues at restaurants. One time someone helped themselves to a much larger tip than I gave, and one time a restaurant refused to let my toddle daughter use the bathroom in an emergency unless I purchased something, then refused to let me purchase something.

My point being, that's two issues in 36 years. I know of people that have two issues a week. This person reminds me of them.

We are all obviously starved for news to discuss here since the much-anticipated McDaniel presser was such a floater.

But I'm certain no one wants to read about the Popeyes Chicken I had at Louisiana Kitchen in Memphis today at lunch. By the way, it was deeeelicious, as always!

Also, I am a white male, highly-educated, in mid-career, loves to travel, especially to sporting events, who has never worked in the food service business. I am a life-long Republican, although neither the George W. Bush-type nor the redneck, pig-f*cking TeaBagger kind. You know, normal in civilized company among those of similar or almost all different political persuasions, except for within those tacky havens that baggers congregate with their ignorant, retarded kids and the rest of their drooling, toothless kinfolk.

Kingfish. Please. Make. It. Stop.

Sir, just make up a story so we'll have something to read to enrich our pitiful lives.

Meanwhile, for those just dyin' ta know, I had two breasts and a wing of the spicy original with rice dressing, cole slaw and biscuit, with a large Dr. Pepper that I refilled during my meal and again as I left the restaurant. The highlight of lunch was the biscuit, which I saved for last and ate as a dessert with butter and honey. Yum-yum.

P.S. I believe this comment is number 59. This is sick.

P.P.S. I've decided to have Popeye's again for dinner. Drive-thru this time.

Never been impressed by the food quality and most of the waiters are frankly terrible, but what do you expect? It is a food code issue. Miss. Adopted the FDA code. States managers should accept only food from approved sources. Approved sources means licensed, inspected firms. Same with almost all states. Numerous online sources to vet. Is the rule enforced? No. Gonto the Baltimore Sun website. There is an article on this. The author created a hypothetical rules list. No. 3 rule: don't bring in an outside cake without asking. This is in fun, harpies. If they serve it and someone gets sick, the lawyer is going to cite the law.http://weblogs.baltimoresun.com/entertainment/dining/reviews/blog/2011/02/they_want_their_cake.html. As it says, it is not enforced.

Being a business owner myself I can attest to the fact that there are some people who simply are unreasonable, cannot be pleased, and are completely self centered to the point of ridiculousness. These are the same people who share a victim mentality, are quick to sue, and thrive on the attention generated by situations such as this. I for one am glad Georgia Blue held firm to their policy and say kudos to them for not backing down in the face of such foolishness. Being a frequest Georgia Blue customer myself, and one who personally knows the owners, I can tell you that I know for a fact that they make every attempt to keep their customers happy. If you doubt their commitment to providing excellent quality food at a reasonable price just go visit any one of their restaurants on the weekend. It seems to me that since this person has gone to the trouble of posting this on yelp and now here that they are starved for attention or just a complete jerk. They got their precious little feelings hurts over a cake. I love how entitled people around here walk in a place and act like they own it. I am so sure I could go in their cake store and tell her how to run her business. I guess she came in thinking her money was worth more than everyone else's. It sounds like she wanted the "oh she's a regular" treatment without being a regular. Also, if you have half a brain, you would know that Georgia Blue is not an ideal spot for a birthday party.

Also, to you idiots who say "Georgia Blue won't make it"- you're either, blind, bitter, or retarded. The place is packed every night and there is very little turnover compared to other restaurants. The servers I have talked to there always say what a great place it is to work. Is the food always perfect? No. But what place really is? Maybe it's more people who go in a place in a bad mood and act like the world revolves around them instead of appreciating a local small business's legal right to run their business the way they see fit.

By the way, it's pretty hilarious how many people are commenting against the original poster. Talk about an ultimate backfire.

I bank at the same place the owner of GB does, I see him there occasionally but I am so conceited about my own cooking that I would not eat there for years. I finally have several business meetings there over a couple of months time and I love it.

You have to have the fried chicken sandwich--so good. I now carry my son there when we are on our own.

For lunch, several plate lunches are good.

Georgia Blue is a solid place. People that work there take it seriously.

I think somebody has an ax to grind and would have done better accusing a KFC of something that running GB down.

I am a local eatery owner and it is against the law to allow anyone to bring food from another location into my establishment. This includes but is not limited to; your birthday cake(i will gladly make you a cake, just give me some notice) chicken tenders for your child(i can likely come up with something that your picky little eater will eat, Wine (we can order the bottles that you like if you let us know), the fish you caught at the Rex earlier (we have fish that has been cleared by the FDA and has been kept at proper temperatures). We will gladly cater to your every need but please be reasonable... My business license is of great importance to me.

Hey Jethro, the only people I usually see worry about a few errors with grammar are stupid and not affluent.

Trollfest '09

Trollfest '07 was such a success that Jackson Jambalaya will once again host Trollfest '09. Catch this great event which will leave NE Jackson & Fondren in flames. Othor Cain and his band, The Black Power Structure headline the night while Sonjay Poontang returns for an encore performance. Former Frank Melton bodyguard Marcus Wright makes his premier appearance at Trollfest singing "I'm a Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." Kamikaze will sing his new hit, “How I sold out to da Man.” Robbie Bell again performs: “Mamas, don't let your babies grow up to be Bells” and “Any friend of Ed Peters is a friend of mine”. After the show, Ms. Bell will autograph copies of her mug shot photos. In a salute to “Dancing with the Stars”, Ms. Bell and Hinds County District Attorney Robert Smith will dance the Wango Tango.

Wrestling returns, except this time it will be a Battle Royal with Othor Cain, Ben Allen, Kim Wade, Haley Fisackerly, Alan Lange, and “Big Cat” Donna Ladd all in the ring at the same time. The Battle Royal will be in a steel cage, no time limit, no referee, and the losers must leave town. Marshand Crisler will be the honorary referee (as it gives him a title without actually having to do anything).

Meet KIM Waaaaaade at the Entergy Tent. For five pesos, Kim will sell you a chance to win a deed to a crack house on Ridgeway Street stuffed in the Howard Industries pinata. Don't worry if the pinata is beaten to shreds, as Mr. Wade has Jose, Emmanuel, and Carlos, all illegal immigrants, available as replacements for the it. Upon leaving the Entergy tent, fig leaves will be available in case Entergy literally takes everything you have as part of its Trollfest ticket price adjustment charge.

Donna Ladd of The Jackson Free Press will give several classes on learning how to write. Smearing, writing without factchecking, and reporting only one side of a story will be covered. A donation to pay their taxes will be accepted and she will be signing copies of their former federal tax liens. Ms. Ladd will give a dramatic reading of her two award-winning essays (They received The Jackson Free Press "Best Of" awards.) "Why everything is always about me" and "Why I cover murders better than anyone else in Jackson".

In the spirit of helping those who are less fortunate, Trollfest '09 adopts a cause for which a portion of the proceeds and donations will be donated: Keeping Frank Melton in his home. The “Keep Frank Melton From Being Homeless” booth will sell chances for five dollars to pin the tail on the jackass. John Reeves has graciously volunteered to be the jackass for this honorable excursion into saving Frank's ass. What's an ass between two friends after all? If Mr. Reeves is unable to um, perform, Speaker Billy McCoy has also volunteered as when the word “jackass” was mentioned he immediately ran as fast as he could to sign up.

In order to help clean up the legal profession, Adam Kilgore of the Mississippi Bar will be giving away free, round-trip plane tickets to the North Pole where they keep their bar complaint forms (which are NOT available online). If you don't want to go to the North Pole, you can enjoy Brant Brantley's (of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance) free guided tours of the quicksand field over by High Street where all complaints against judges disappear. If for some reason you are unable to control yourself, never fear; Judge Houston Patton will operate his jail where no lawyers are needed or allowed as you just sit there for minutes... hours.... months...years until he decides he is tired of you sitting in his jail. Do not think Judge Patton is a bad judge however as he plans to serve free Mad Dog 20/20 to all inmates.

Trollfest '09 is a pet-friendly event as well. Feel free to bring your dog with you and do not worry if your pet gets hungry, as employees of the Jackson Zoo will be on hand to provide some of their animals as food when it gets to be feeding time for your little loved one.

Relax at the Fox News Tent. Since there are only three blonde reporters in Jackson (being blonde is a requirement for working at Fox News), Megan and Kathryn from WAPT and Wendy from WLBT will be on loan to Fox. To gain admittance to the VIP section, bring either your Republican Party ID card or a Rebel Flag. Bringing both and a torn-up Obama yard sign will entitle you to free drinks served by Megan, Wendy, and Kathryn. Get your tickets now. Since this is an event for trolls, no ID is required. Just bring the hate. Bring the family, Trollfest '09 is for EVERYONE!!!

This is definitely a Beaver production.

Sonjay Poontang and his band headline the night with a special steel cage, no time limit "loser must leave town" bout between Alan Lange and "Big Cat"Donna Ladd following afterwards. Kamikaze will perform his new song F*** Bush, he's still a _____. Did I mention there was no referee? Dr. Heddy Matthias and Lori Gregory will face off in the undercard dueling with dangling participles and other um, devices.
